Building the energy transition.
A look at the projects we're proud to call our own. Each one is an ATNOM Group investment that we develop, build and operate ourselves — from battery manufacturing and green hydrogen to sustainable fuels and the solar plants that power them.

Green hydrogen production facility
Avram Iancu, Bihor County, Romania
A green hydrogen plant in Bihor County producing over 1,500 tonnes of green hydrogen a year from renewable power. Green hydrogen is widely seen as a fuel of the future and a key building block for the energy transition, helping heavy industry and transport cut carbon emissions in line with European decarbonisation goals.
- Input capacity
- 15 MW
- Hydrogen output
- 9.02 MW
- Annual output
- 1,500+ t H₂
- Total investment
- €20M
- EU funding (PNRR)
- €16M

Lithium battery gigafactory
Ișalnița, Dolj County, Romania
A lithium battery gigafactory near Craiova producing cells and battery systems for stationary and industrial energy storage. Built by ATNOM SRL, part of the ENSYS group, the 20,000+ m² plant scales in two phases — from 250 MWh in phase one to over 2 GWh of annual capacity. Alongside batteries, the site adds assembly lines for medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformer stations and other equipment for electricity distribution.
- Capacity by 2027
- 2 GWh/yr
- Facility area
- 20,000+ m²
- Total investment (Phase 1)
- €50M
- Total investment (Phase 2)
- €150M
- EU funding (PNRR)
- €35M

Solar plant powering the hydrogen facility
Avram Iancu, Bihor County, Romania
A 9.5 MWp solar plant paired with a 2 MW battery storage system, built to supply clean power directly to the green hydrogen PEM plant. Pairing solar with on-site storage keeps hydrogen production running on renewable energy and reduces reliance on the grid.
- Solar capacity
- 9.5 MWp
- Battery storage
- 2 MW BESS
- Total investment
- €4.5M
- EU funding (PNRR)
- €3M

Solar plant powering the future SAF facility
Romania
A 22 MWp solar plant paired with a 4 MW battery storage system, planned to supply renewable power to the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility currently under development. The solar-plus-storage setup provides a steady, low-carbon energy supply for fuel production.
- Solar capacity
- 22 MWp
- Battery storage
- 4 MW BESS
- Total investment
- €9M
- EU funding (PNRR)
- €7M
